Designed for quick and efficient removal of magnetic 9 kG security tags from merchandise at the point of sale (POS), this high-strength detaching platform provides security for a full range of products. These detachers are easy to use and can be secured directly to – or recessed into – the POS countertop in order to maximise space while maintaining high standards of security. The mobility feature of the coiled cable hand-held detacher (MKDAMK4100- CBL) allows cashiers to remove magnetic 9 kG security tags from heavy, bulky merchandise in the shopping trolley and at the POS counter. It attaches to the countertop via the integrated coiled cable and features a locking key to prevent unauthorised use. For added security, the detacher has an internal EAS element that will alarm detection systems if an attempt is made to remove it from the store. The countertop detacher (MKD400- BL) maximises space at the POS and expedites throughput with one-handed detaching of magnetic 9 kG hard tags. It fastens directly onto – or recesses into – any POS countertop to prevent removal from the store and features a locking key to prevent unauthorised use. The optional Retrofit Kit (MKDAMK421) combines superior unlocking magnetic strength with the detaching capabilities of the flush-mount industry-standard SuperTag Power Detacher, for a total detaching solution. This solution eliminates the need for multiple detaching devices at the POS in a SuperTag and magnetic 9 kG hard tag environment.
