This high-performance Sensormatic deactivator antenna integrates with compatible Scanner/Scales for a more streamlined checkout experience. After cashiers scan products and information is verified at the point of sale, attached AM EAS labels are automatically deactivated for fast and accurate checkout – even in high-traffic, high-volume locations. The antenna delivers high throughput deactivation regardless of label orientation to help improve front-end checkout efficiencies. This true integrated deactivation solution helps prevent sweethearting, scan avoidance and merchandise switching. As the antenna design and geometry of the AMB5470 are unique to Zebra scanners and scales, it must be retrofitted on site By locating the antenna within the scanner housing, till point modifications are eliminated and installation costs are reduced. The antenna design and geometry of the AMB5014 horizontal antenna allow it to be mounted flush with the counter under the Zebra SP7200 scanner. The vertical AMB5014 antenna option simply attaches around the SP7200 scanner or a single-plane vertical pointof-sale (POS) scanner to preserve counter space. The deactivator can be integrated with the Sensormatic Shrink Management as a Service analytics platform, which offers device management and provides predictive insights to help retailers reduce shrink, optimise labour and increase sales.
