Acousto-Magnetic (AM)

The Sensormatic CompactPad Deactivator provides convenient and simple deactivation for even the smallest till point areas. Designed in front-end applications where high-speed throughput is not a priority, this unit deactivates active AM EAS labels up to 15 cm (6 in) above the surface of the pad at a throughput speed of up to 152 cm/sec. (60 in/sec). An LED light on the deactivator provides visual deactivation notification. Optional Remote Alarm Module provides visual and audible confirmations when active labels are detected and deactivated. The locking key feature within the remote alarm module prevents unauthorised use of the CompactPad when the point of sale is unattended. The alarm module can be mounted almost anywhere at the till point. The deactivator can be integrated with the Sensormatic Shrink Management as a Service analytics platform, which offers device management and provides predictive insights to help retailers reduce shrink, optimise labour and increase sales
