Acousto-Magnetic (AM)

The high-performance Sensormatic deactivator is an antenna designed specifically to integrate with the NCRVOYIX SelfServ XK22 and 90 kiosks. After the transaction is initiated, products are scanned and the antenna deactivates AM EAS labels for a convenient and accurate checkout. Regardless of label orientation, an active label can be deactivated up to 4.5 inches away from the scanning window. The deactivation antenna design and geometry is unique to NCR-compatible kiosks and must be retrofitted on site. The antenna is embedded directly behind the imaging scanner window housing, allowing accurate deactivation once merchandise is scanned. The Universal Deactivation Controller (AMB9010-IPS) provides the power to efficiently operate the deactivation antenna. The deactivator can be integrated with the Sensormatic Shrink Management as a Service analytics platform, which offers device management and provides predictive insights to help retailers reduce shrink, optimise labour and increase sales.
